Christine Chang, L.Ac.

Christine Chang studied Traditional Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego and Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, from which she graduated summa cum laude with a master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. She is a licensed California acupuncturist and also a National Board certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine. Before taking up in medicine, she studied film-making at the California Institute of the Arts. Her film Be Good, My Children was shown on public television nationwide and at the Whitney Biennial. At Emperor’s College, she completed internships at the UCLA Ashe Student Health Center and the Los Angeles Free Clinic. She is currently an assistant clinic supervisor at Emperor’s College and an assistant to Dr. Tae Chung Choo, with whom she is studying Korean four-needle acupuncture technique and herbal medicine, which is a special interest for her.

Olivia Chong, L.Ac.

Olivia Chong, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M., graduated from Samra University of Oriental Medicine and plans to further expand her knowledge at Emperor’s College of Oriental Medicine for their Doctoral Program. She specializes not only in the traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbs but has integrated Korean Constitutional Medicine and Four-Needle Techniques into our modern symptoms. She was an apprentice to Dr. Eric Song, who specialized in Women’s Health; such as menopause, post-partum, and infertility and also had successfully treated patients related to stress, over-weight, pain control and facial rejuvenation. With her knowledge in Danjun meditation and Qi Gong, she is dedicated and motivated to guide her patients to a healthier, and more harmonized lifestyle.

Martin Brother, L.Ac.

Martin Brother graduated from Samra University of Oriental Medicine in 2003. He has been practicing in Southern California since that time. Martin specialized in orthopedic injuries and women's health issues. Prior to obtaining his acupuncture license, he spent the last six years as a massage therapist. In addition, Martin has extensive training in deep tissue corrective therapies for chronic and traumatic musculoskeletal problems. As a former athlete and dancer, he has an intimate knowledge of body mechanics and the therapies needed to relieve pain and restore normal function to injured tissues.
